On the plus side, putting a wave one amiibo, like the Villager, next to a Tom Nook allows the viewer to see how far the quality of the characters has come. None of the Animal Crossing NFC figures have this additional support, which adds to their charm.
Many of those have a translucent boot that helps secure the figure, but detracts from its overall appearance. What’s most appreciated, however, is the overall quality of the figure when compared to a Super Smash Bros. Each one is quite substantial, yet still distinct. I was worried that they might be a little too flimsy or delicate. I was concerned about the build quality of this amiibo, due to the number of quills. is unique, but that his amiibo does have that extra touch is appreciated. I only have the one figure, so I can’t definitively say if each K.K.
He isn’t wearing any clothing, but his guitar actually has a wood grain design. Some of the Fire Emblem Super Smash Bros characters felt as though they had that sort of detail, but it’s far more apparent on the Animal Crossing amiibo, due to their more simplistic design.
Nook’s sweater vest feels as though it’s knit, Isabelle’s blazer is made of tweed, and the alpacas’ aprons almost feel like a sort of corduroy. All of the characters in this particular line feature some rather nice details.įor example, Isabelle, Tom Nook, Cyrus, and Reese all have a texture to the “fabric” of their clothes. But really, it isn’t only those three figures that are striking. Slider, Isabelle, and Tom Nook amiibo are great. Now that Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival has been released, we’re lucky enough to have Animal Crossing amiibo in our lives.
